Building Your Humidor
Every cigar you own gets logged with as much or as little detail as you want.
- Identify from Photo — shoot the band or the box lid, and the app
identifies the brand and line for you. You confirm everything before it saves,
nothing gets added silently.
- Manual entry — brand, line, quantity, what you paid, and an MSRP
lookup so you know what it's actually worth.
- The details — vitola, length, ring gauge, wrapper shade, origin,
strength, and notes are all optional. Leave anything blank and fill it in later;
an unknown size just draws at a default 5×46 on the shelf.
- Location and age — track where a cigar lives in your humidor and
how long it's been resting.
- Import from CSV (Pro) — bringing a spreadsheet over? The Add
screen has an import option, alongside photo identification.
- Value — tap the Value box on the Humidor tab for what you paid
against list price, an MSRP lookup for entries missing one, and, with Pro, a
lifetime spend report with spend by month.
Smoking a Cigar
When you're ready to light one, the Smoke tab tracks the whole session.
- Start a session and the app times your burn from first light to "put it back
(never lit)" or "Nub It — Finish."
- Rate what you smoked, add tasting notes across flavor categories (leather &
tobacco, floral & herbal, fruit, fermented & fungal, mineral & char,
sweet, spice, and bean & nut), and snap a photo of the stick itself.
- Finish without a rating and you'll get a one-tap "How was it?" with five stars.
You can skip it, and rate later straight from History.
- Everything gets saved to your History, building a real record of what you've
actually smoked — not just what you own.
Smoke Next
On the Smoke tab, Get a suggestion (Pro) picks a few cigars from your
own humidor and tells you why. It all happens on your phone, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- It weighs how long a cigar has rested against your target, how you rated it, how
long since you last smoked it, and whether it fits the time you have and the
strength you want.
- Pair it with a drink, a dish, or an occasion, and the picks shift toward what suits,
with the reasons shown.
- A favorite you only have one of is flagged so you can save it. "Surprise me" picks
one from the best few.
History & Stats
The History tab is your running account of the habit.
- Sessions, total time, average burn, and your longest smoke.
- Your average rating, how many ratings you've given, and how many different cigars
you've rated.
- Time spent broken down by brand, origin and more, so you know what you actually
reach for.
- Every past session with its rating, notes, and photo. Edit one to fix a time or
rating, or delete a smoke you logged by mistake, and put the cigar back in your
humidor if you want.
- Free accounts see the last 30 days; Pro shows everything, with older sessions
loading as you go. Nothing is deleted either way.
Friends & Ratings
Share your humidor with friends, and browse theirs. See what they're holding, get
ideas for your next pickup, and keep a bit of the lounge social.
- Share from the Friends tab by entering your friend's email. They sign up with that
address and your humidor appears for them. You'll see who has joined, and can send
an invite from your phone.
- A friend can see your humidor and the star rating you give each cigar. They never
see your notes, times or photos, and you can revoke a share at any time.
- On a cigar, Pro shows which friends rated it and how, plus an anonymous community
average once enough people have rated it. Free accounts see how many have rated it.
- You decide whether your ratings count toward the community figure: your account
icon, then Privacy.
Going Pro
The free tier is a fully working humidor — every cigar you own, a complete smoking
log, and enough headroom to actually use it day to day. Going Pro raises most of the
ceilings and adds real reporting on top:
